He has served at all levels – local, provincial and national.
 He served 7 years as the provincial delegate to C5PBA
meetings as well as an additional 4 years as a member of
the C5PBA Executive
 Founded the first draft league in Calgary
 He has served as President of the Alberta Masters, the
Alberta 5 Pin, and the Bowling Federation of Alberta
 He is the guru of the lane draws for both Masters and Open
for over 30 years
 In 1969, he initiated the abolishment of the counter pin which
was critical for Alberta’s inclusion in the C5PBA
 He is a life member of the Regina, Saskatchewan and
Canadian 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association
Hi contributions have been extremely valuable to the sport of 5
pin bowling and his fingerprints remain on many of his ideas and
theories.
The C5PBA is proud to induct into the Builders Division of the Hall
of Fame, class of 2020, Don Sim of Alberta.
